ABSTRACT

Background:

Psoriasis is a chronic multifactorial inflammatory disease which affects 0.1-3% of the global population. Some factors may induce or aggravate psoriasis and one of these factors is lithium. The mechanism of lithium-related psoriasis is exactly unknown. Various clinical types of psoriasis can be seen and most of the cases are resistant to classical treatments.
